Test & Validation Engineer 

Join a dynamic R&D team working on cutting-edge technologies for next-generation automotive application services in telematics products. As a Test & Validation Engineer, your role involves ensuring the requirements for the test bench, coverage of system requirements, and the quality of test cases. You will also oversee the correct setup of the test environment and execute tests, ensuring that results align with specifications and system releases. This role reports to the System Test Lead.

Role & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • System Analysis & Testing: Analyze products and systems, collaborating with OEMs to ensure system tests meet expectations.
  • Test Execution: Ensure that system tests align with the project plan and execute within the defined release scope, test plan, and strategy.
  • Test Planning: Assist in defining and shaping the System Test Plan.
  • Test Environment Setup: Support the setup and distribution of the system test environment to ensure readiness.
  • Requirement Review: Participate in the analysis and review of system requirement specifications for the testing team.
  • Test Case Development: Define and specify system test cases, ensuring alignment with functional requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Function Owner and project team to address issues and non-conformities.
  • Test Execution & Reporting: Execute tests and document results, including any discrepancies, while escalating significant deviations to the System Test Lead.
  • Issue Resolution: Support the project team in analyzing and resolving any issues that arise during testing.
  • Closure of Test Activities: Ensure the successful conclusion of system test activities and provide comprehensive reports.
  • Peer Reviews: Participate in peer reviews for test plans and specifications to maintain high-quality documentation and processes.
  • Reliability: Ensure that all test executions are performed with accuracy and reliability.
