Optical Design Engineer 

Job Overview: This role involves the development of LED modules for headlamps as part of a research and development team. Responsibilities include optical design, coordination with internal and external parties, and collaboration with global affiliates.

Department Summary: Focuses on the optical design of next-generation automotive lighting products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop headlamp LED modules.
• Design LED modules and manage communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters in Engineering.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Japanese communication skills are essential.
• Experience as an optical engineer is preferred.

Required:

• Graduated from a science or engineering university or have equivalent basic knowledge.
• Proficient in Japanese and English for communication and documentation.
• Valid drivers license.

Preferred:

• Experience with CATIA V5.
• Skills in surface modeling with CATIA.
• Software development and programming experience.

Desired Profile:

• Interest or experience in optical research and development during university.
• Enthusiastic about automotive design and manufacturing.
