About Our Client:
Our client is an innovative and well-funded startup dedicated to the development of cutting-edge eVTOL (Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft technology.
Role Overview:
As the Power Electronics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of power supplies, motors, and inverters used in the aircraft. Your work will include determining specifications, selecting appropriate products, conducting tests, and managing the circuit design and firmware implementation required for aircraft integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define motor and inverter specifications, and select appropriate products
- Design electrical circuits
- Implement firmware for aircraft components
- Conduct testing and build test environments
- Collaborate with engineers responsible for peripheral components
- Manage negotiations with business partners and support collaborative development
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing, aviation, or related fields
- Strong understanding of power electronics development (design, development, and test equipment construction)
- Experience and foundational knowledge in EV powertrain development
- 4+ years of engineering experience in the manufacturing industry
- Development experience in fields such as aircraft, automobiles, motorcycles, trains, drones, or robotics
- Comprehensive knowledge of design, development, manufacturing, and testing processes
- Business-level proficiency in English
- Basic knowledge of eVTOL technology
- Experience negotiating with suppliers
- Practical experience in obtaining safety certifications
- Mass production experience is a plus

Compensation:
- Competitive salary based on experience and skills
- Monthly salary (including 20 hours of overtime pay): 400,000 to 1,000,000 yen
