Our client, a leading automotive company, is seeking a skilled professional based in Japan to manage quality coordination between Japanese customers, a China-based factory, and the R&D site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain close communication with Japanese customers, the China factorys quality assurance team, and R&D regarding quality issues.
  • Respond quickly to quality concerns with support from resident engineers.
  • Support the Chinese production plants by:
    • Leading quality improvement initiatives.
    • Conducting audits of customer factories in China.
    • Attending regular meetings with customers for supplier quality control.
    • Managing production and process changes using the 4M matrix and securing customer approval.
  • Ensure seamless communication between Japanese clients and the oversea.
  • Take swift action at customer sites to resolve quality issues alongside engineers.
  • Assist with:
    • Process audits by customers.
    • Regular meetings with Nissan (SQM, etc.).
  • Ensure adherence to the 4M matrix for product or process changes and ensure customer awareness and approval.
  • Maintain Continuous Improvement (CIP) standards, including tracking quality procedures.
  • Update quality documents following product or process changes.
  • Participate in design reviews, including supplier reviews.
  • Support internal and external supplier parts quality management.
  • Prepare for project quality milestones, ensuring all required deliverables are ready.
  • Track and resolve project issues, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Review control plans and initiate corrective actions for any test failures.
