Our client, a leading automotive company, collaborates with the Information Technology Center (ITC), a Japanese team providing IT solutions, to manage IT equipment across various business group locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison for IT-related topics within the business group, gaining an understanding of each location's operations.
• Coordinate with ITC engineers responsible for the installation, replacement, and maintenance of IT equipment, as well as vendors and business users as necessary.
• Support daily operations and projects within the information systems department of the business group.
• Assist in the deployment, replacement, and maintenance of both group-standard and region-specific devices.
• Gather business requirements for IT and communicate them to ITC, defining solutions for implementation and supporting projects.
• Act as the primary coordinator between ITC and business groups, facilitating effective deployment.
• Manage infrastructure and incidents by interviewing and investigating user-reported issues.
• Escalate unresolved issues to ITC and global support teams.
• Provide on-site support with direct access to hardware.
• Manage IT assets, including PCs, smartphones, printers, network switches, and Wi-Fi access points.
• Oversee the procurement process, from quoting and ordering IT equipment to disposal.
• Maintain physical records of IT equipment status and locations.
• Utilize the group's standard quality management tool to check software versions, errors, licenses, etc., and monitor the status of IT equipment, requesting necessary actions from teams.
• Coordinate annual testing of the IT Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP).
• Support the operational needs of the Information Systems Department within the business group.

Qualifications:

[MUST]

• Over 5 years of practical experience in IT support within a business environment.
• Strong communication skills in Japanese and English, both verbal and written.

[WANT]

• Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
