About Our Client:
Our client is a forward-thinking startup specializing in the development of cutting-edge eVTOL (Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft. They are dedicated to revolutionizing aviation through innovative solutions, including advanced communication wire harness designs.

Role Overview:
As the Avionics Development Harness Manager, you will be responsible for designing the communication wire harnesses for eVTOL aircraft. This includes wiring between flight controllers, ECUs, and sensors, while ensuring effective coordination with other teams to implement EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) measures. This position requires a deep understanding of harness design and electrical systems in aviation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine specifications for communication harnesses and select appropriate harnesses and connectors
  • Design and route harnesses across the aircraft system
  • Create and manage detailed wiring diagrams
  • Oversee procurement and negotiate with suppliers for harness components
  • Conduct electrical load testing, safety checks, and reliability testing of communication systems

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing, aviation, or related fields
  • Strong background in harness design and development is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles
  • 4+ years of engineering experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Experience in developing systems for aircraft, automobiles, motorcycles, trains, drones, or robotics
  • Extensive knowledge of design, development, manufacturing, and testing processes
  • Familiarity with power supplies, batteries, and power electronics
  • Business-level proficiency in English
  • Basic understanding of eVTOL technology
  • Experience negotiating with suppliers and vendors
  • Practical experience in obtaining safety standard certifications
  • Mass production experience is a plus

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary based on experience and skills
  • Monthly salary (including 20 hours of overtime pay): 400,000 to 1,000,000 yen
  • Stock options available
