Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented PR Consultant to join our team on a part-time or freelance basis. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with outstanding communication and writing skills, along with a proven ability to develop and execute effective PR campaigns. You will collaborate with our clients to understand their business goals and create tailored PR strategies that drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement PR strategies and campaigns for a diverse range of clients
• Conduct market research to identify target audiences and key media outlets, particularly in print media in Japan
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts and stakeholders, with a focus on print media
• Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials
• Coordinate media interviews and press events
• Monitor media coverage and provide clients with regular reports
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment between PR and overall marketing strategies
• Stay informed about industry trends to identify PR opportunities for clients
• Assist with crisis communication and reputation management as needed
• Develop and execute comprehensive social media marketing strategies to enhance PR efforts

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in PR, preferably in an agency setting
• Strong experience working with print media in Japan
• Expertise in social media marketing, with a track record of successful campaigns
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful PR campaigns
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Experience with media relations and building relationships with key stakeholders
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their role in PR
• Experience with crisis communication and reputation management is a plus
