About Our Client: Our client is a leading startup in the eVTOL (Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) industry, focused on developing advanced avionics systems for cutting-edge aircraft. They are seeking a dedicated Avionics Senior Engineer to oversee the quality assurance, reliability design, and testing of their high-performance avionics systems.

The Role: The Avionics Senior Engineer - Quality will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and quality of electronic equipment used in eVTOLs. This role involves rigorous design, testing, and analysis to maintain high standards for avionics components, which are critical for the performance and safety of the aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define requirements for avionics components, focusing on reliability and safety.
  • Conduct safety analysis and reliability design for avionics components, including ECUs and flight computers.
  • Plan and execute reliability tests, such as acceleration, environmental, and endurance tests, and drive improvements in components and systems.
  • Implement and evaluate EMC measures.
  • Perform unit and system testing of embedded software to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, aeronautics, or related fields.
  • Open to candidates of all academic backgrounds, ages, and nationalities.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience in quality assurance, reliability design, reliability testing, and vehicle testing (experience related to the above responsibilities is highly valued).
  • Basic knowledge of embedded software and electronics reliability.
  • Over 4 years of engineering experience in manufacturing (any field).
  • Experience in vehicle or drone development, including aircraft, automotive, motorcycle, railway vehicle, or robotics.
  • Extensive knowledge of engineering principles in design, development, manufacturing, and testing.
  • Business-level English proficiency.
  • Basic understanding of eVTOL technology.
  • Experience negotiating with suppliers and obtaining safety certifications.
  • Practical experience with safety standards and mass production processes.
