About Our Client: Our client is a pioneering startup in the aerospace industry, specializing in advanced eVTOL (Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft. With a strong focus on innovation and future urban mobility solutions, they are driving the development of cutting-edge avionics systems.

The Role: We are looking for a highly skilled Product Manager to oversee the development and success of avionics systems for eVTOL aircraft. This role will involve leading the technical direction of the avionics team and ensuring the successful execution of the product from inception to market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make critical decisions and provide leadership for the avionics development team.
  • Collaborate with the product manager and team leaders on the overall eVTOL development strategy.
  • Design high-performance, reliable avionics systems, including:
    • Flight Controller
    • Flight Management Computer (Central Control Computer)
    • ECU (Control System for Drive Train)
    • Embedded Software
    • Communication System
    • Various sensor units (e.g., GPS, Speed Sensors)

Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, aeronautics, or related fields.
  • Open to diverse educational backgrounds, ages, and nationalities.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience as a product manager in consumer electronics, industrial equipment, measurement instruments, or robotics.
  • Background in developing microcomputers, control systems, and communication systems for drones, robots, or vehicles.
  • Proficiency in embedded software development (C++, Python, MATLAB/SIMULINK).
  • Expertise in hardware/software development requiring high reliability.
  • Experience in circuit design and development in testing environments.
  • Knowledge of safety standards (e.g., ASIL, ISO 26262) and vehicle or drone development.
  • Managerial or lead engineer experience.
  • Business-level English proficiency.
  • Basic understanding of eVTOL technology.
  • Experience in negotiating with suppliers, obtaining safety certifications, and mass production.
