General Affairs Manager
Our client in the automotive industry is seeking a General Affairs Manager to oversee facility management, safety, and administrative duties, working with on-site employees to ensure smooth operations and compliance.

THIS POSITION IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO RESIDENTS OF JAPAN.

Mission

You will be responsible for managing and overseeing factory and facility operations, ensuring safety and guidance in coordination with on-site employees.

Duties

You will be tasked with directing, guiding, executing, and improving the following responsibilities:

  • Coordination with various departments, including headquarters.
  • Acting as a liaison between vendors and the FA (Factory Automation) team.
  • Maintaining office facilities and assets.
  • Managing fixed assets related to the factory.
  • Overseeing duties for expatriates.
  • Managing non-employee personnel (freelancers, contractors, outsourced drivers, etc.).
  • Supporting the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team.
  • Managing fire drills and safety training (in collaboration with the HR department).
  • Other administrative tasks (arranging supplies, purchasing, office work schedules).

Qualifications

  • Experience:

    • Experience in General Affairs or Facility Management is required.
  • Language Skills:

    • Japanese: Fluent
    • English: Basic reading and writing skills (note: the site has dedicated interpreters available).
