Role Overview:
The Regional Solution Field Manager will work closely with the regional sales and support teams to oversee the regional TNS (Technical Network Solutions) for the Solution Field (SF). This role is responsible for the business management of all product and service categories within the SF for the region, including budget and margin oversight. The manager will collaborate with the Solution Field Head, Product Field Managers, and Service Managers to define and execute the Solution Field strategy in the region. Additionally, they will identify regional customer needs, prioritize requirements, and represent the customer to the global organization. The manager will also have target authority for the regional Solution Field service team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Management:
    Own, align, and achieve revenue targets from a business perspective.
  • Regional Representation:
    Act as the empowered regional proxy for the Solution Field Head, bridging regional sales with the global Product Field P&L.
  • P&L Responsibility:
    Manage the P&L for the regional PSS (consulting and service business) segment.
  • Team Leadership:
    Lead a team of approximately 14 associates, including security consultants, testers, and field application engineers.
  • Business Development:
    Demonstrate strong entrepreneurship by seeking business opportunities and developing the business.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    Background in Embedded Software development within the Automotive Domain.
  • Leadership:
    Proven leadership and people management experience.
  • Communication Skills:
    Excellent communication skills in English and native-level proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N1).
  • Networking:
    Strong networking skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain business relationships.
  • Cybersecurity Knowledge:
    Familiarity with cybersecurity is a plus.
