Position: Regional Service Manager

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturer, is seeking a Regional Service Manager to join their team. Here are the key details regarding the position:

Location: Flexible within Tokyo, Chiba, Osaka, and Kitakyushu, with approximately 2 days of home office work per week.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Workshop Management: Oversee and plan daily operations, leading and motivating workshop and service staff.
  • Customer Relations: Develop and manage customer relationships to ensure needs are met and services are adapted for the future.
  • Service Solutions Sales: Drive sales of service solutions by developing and communicating service portfolios according to customer needs.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor workshop budgets and operational targets, implementing measures to achieve set goals.

Qualifications:

  • Deep experience in the automotive industry or strong knowledge of business management
  • Management experience (official title not required)
  • Open mindset for change and improvement
  • High school education; relevant dealership experience is a plus
  • Supervisory or leadership experience
  • Native Japanese speaker with fluent English
  • Valid driver's license for regular passenger vehicles
  • Intermediate PC skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot)
  • Preferred: Heavy vehicle license, technical experience, safety and health manager certificate
