Project Analyst
Job Description:
The Company is looking for an IT professional to join our team of superstars as a Project Analyst. This position is for a technically talented, innovative, detail-oriented and ambitious individual with a strong desire to learn and grow, both technically and as a professional. Team players, only.
As a Managed Service Provider (MSP), The Company Group supports the IT environments of multiple companies. The environments can vary in terms of size and complexity. As such, the pace and demands maintain a high level typically much greater than an in-house IT position supporting one company.
The Project Analyst (PA) is responsible for preparing technology designs, solution proposals and detailed project implementation workplans for The Company Group clients. Solutions proposals are developed to be a custom fit for meeting specific client business and technical requirements.
Proposals developed by the PA help The Company Group with technology alignment and mitigation of reactive services across our client base.
An ideal Project Analyst will be more geared to the SMB space (vs Enterprise) and be able to:
Evaluate client's environment to understand current systems and create solutions that align with the business requirements defined by the The Company Account Managers (vCIOs).
Develop a project workplan that will be used by the Projects team to ensure successful delivery of defined solution.
Collaborate with the team to align solutions to match The Company' approach.
Enhance, maintain and leverage an existing library of project workplans that contain each of the individual steps to execute a project with estimated time associated to each step, and scaled to match the client's environment. The project workplans will contain internal notes about the way the project should be executed, links to existing documentation that provide more details about how to execute a specific step, and a list of product that will be procured. Project workplans will be peer reviewed by Project Engineers that will be responsible for executing the project work plans that are created by the Project Analyst.
