The reason empathy and communication are very important skills in this job is that your customer will be the engineering team. Your goal is to help keep the app stable while making the entire dev team's lives easier. This can't be done without excellent cross-functional communication and a deep understanding of your customer.

Responsibilities

• Supercharge our dev team by creating an unparalleled developer experience

• Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Architect and implement robust, scalable systems for performance monitoring and observability

• Leading major upgrades and migrations, including Ruby and Postgres, ensuring seamless transitions

• Optimize our cloud infrastructure across Heroku, AWS, and Google Cloud

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement performance improvements

• Stay ahead of industry trends and bring innovative ideas to our tech stack

Who You Are

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Platform, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer

• 5+ years experience with dev-ops with Linux/Docker/CI/CD

• Expert-level knowledge of Ruby on Rails and Postgres

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Proven experience with cloud platforms (Heroku, AWS, Google Cloud)

• Strong background in performance optimization and scalability

• Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• A passion for creating efficient, maintainable, and scalable systems

Nice to haves:

• Experience with mobile app development (Flutter) is a plus

  What are my responsibilities?
  
  Pretty much just be willing to apply feedback, we will take care of the hassle part for you.
  

  -How much does it cost?

  Our help is free until you sign a contract and start working. Once you are hired, we charge 10% of your annual salary, this is only for the first year.

  -When do I pay?

  Example you sign for $100k ( could be more)

• • Month 1: You receive $8,333.33, and we ask for $2,500 as the first installment of the fee.
  • Month 2: You receive $8,333.33, and we ask for another $2,500.
  • Month 3: You receive $8,333.33, and we ask for the third $2,500.
  • Month 4: You receive $8,333.33, and we ask for the final $2,500.
    
  • You are free to enjoy your jump into a better compensation for life.
  
  How many times do I get to try?
  
  Once you are approved for the program, we will send roles for your approval. If you're disqualified, we'll give you detailed feedback, and you can apply again to our VIP program after 2 years. This gives you time to work on the areas we suggest improving.
  
  How long does it take for my membership to be approved?
  
  Up to one week, after that, we will ensure to find you a project in one additional week.
