Full-Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist Cooper City, FL

We are excited to announce an opening for a full-time Pediatric Occupational Therapist at our practice in Cooper City, FL. If you're passionate about working with children and looking for a rewarding role in a fun, growth-oriented environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Position Overview:

  • Clinical Hours: 30-35 hours of hands-on therapy per week, with an additional 2-4 hours of administrative tasks.
  • Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 2:00 PM - 6:30 PM, with Fridays and weekends off. Optional hours available Fridays and Saturdays for those looking to expand their schedule.
  • Daytime Responsibilities: Providing therapy in daycares, preschools, and homes under the Early Steps program and through patients' insurance plans.
  • Patient Demographic: Primarily young children, ages 18 months to 8 years.

Requirements:

  • A love for working with children and comfort in parent-present sessions
  • Experience or interest in treating patients under the Early Steps program
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience working with children ages 0-5 as an Occupational Therapist
