LECOM Health (LECOM), the only Osteopathic Academic Health Center in the country that includes a medical school with four campuses across three states, has introduced a new cardiovascular service line at its Erie, PA campus. This includes state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization labs, a newly built ASC with a hybrid catheterization lab, echo labs, and more. Under the leadership of Dr. Matthew Becker, Chair of the Cardiovascular Medicine Division, LECOM achieved a major milestone as the first institution in Pennsylvania to offer the revolutionary Symplicity Spyral RDN system.

We are currently seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join our growing team. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of cardiovascular services in Northwest Pennsylvania from the ground up. New graduates are encouraged to apply!

The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering patient-centered care and dedicated to serving the residents of Northwest Pennsylvania and its surrounding areas. Though we are part of a large healthcare system, our Cardiovascular Medicine Department is a close-knit, collaborative group consisting of one interventional cardiologist and two cardiologists. Together, we are committed to growing the cardiovascular service line into a premier program in the region, with a strong emphasis on education, research, clinical care, and community service.

Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in both Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology, having completed an Internal Medicine residency and fellowship training in these specialties.
