We are currently seeking two Board Certified / Board Eligible Pulmonary and/or Critical Care specialists to join our growing team. This is a rare opportunity to help lead and shape the future of pulmonary/critical care services in Northwest Pennsylvania. New graduates are encouraged to apply!

LECOM Health is the only Osteopathic Academic Health Center in the country that includes a medical school with four campuses across three states. Medical Associates of Erie is a wholly owned subsidiary of LECOM Health and manages the clinical practices of the academic health center. We are committed to the cure and prevention of pulmonary disease through clinical care, research and education. In this role, you would be responsible for a clinic-based practice as well as providing daily inpatient consultations and management services to patients in our medical/surgical unit and 6-bed ICU. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide outpatient pulmonary care in a well-equipped clinic.
  • Perform pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy, and other related procedures.
  • Manage inpatient critical care services, including ICU coverage.
  • Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of pulmonary conditions, such as COPD, asthma, lung infections, and sleep disorders.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff, specialists, and primary care providers to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in call coverage as needed.

Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Pulmonary Medicine and/or Critical Care.
