The Director of Physician Engagement is responsible for the execution of the SignatureMD (SMD) best-in-class national physician engagement strategy. This individual manages a portfolio of SMD physician practices and is responsible for the development and growth of mutually successful, long-term relationships, coordination and execution of various physician focused initiatives and collaboration with the Practice Transitions, Marketing and Sales teams to drive physician and member satisfaction, retention and renewal rates.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Leads physician engagement strategy and performance plans. Establishes regular communication, contact and visits to physician sites. Visits may include, establishment of quarterly meetings, alignment of strategic partnerships and implementation and roll out of new products and services.
  • Execution of the full spectrum of provider engagement activities from post-conversion implementation to ongoing relationship management; including those designed to improve participation by, and retention of, SMD physicians and concierge members.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor the physician group performance and engagement roadmaps to ensure that initiatives are on-track, and deliverables are met and executed effectively and timely. Ensure accountability for execution of the plan, identify opportunities, obstacles and challenges and make recommendations to address, and work with leadership to develop mitigation strategies. Develop and propose recommendations to the team for performance improvement, in conjunction with internal and external subject matter experts.
  • Optimize performance through close collaboration with SMD physicians, Sales, Practice Transitions, Marketing and other internal and external support teams.
  • Serve as the point of contact for escalated provider account management matters.
  • Forecast, monitor, and report key performance metrics.
  • Lead the development of provider performance resources and tools, including dashboards and scorecards.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 6 to 8 years' experience in healthcare or operational/business setting
  • Leadership skills that extend cross-functionally and contribute to driving an exceptional experience for participating physicians and concierge members.
  • Results-oriented, capable of clearly translating strategic objectives into actionable processes that drive desired outcomes.
  • The ability to influence provider audiences through strong written and verbal communication skills.  Sales experience, preferred.
  • Experience with formal presentations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Travel Required up to 50%

Salary is up to $90,000 per year plus bonus with full benefits including travel expenses.
