About the Opportunity
A well-established, independent Internal Medicine practice is seeking a part-time or full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its team. This is a solo-physician practice with a segmented concierge model. The NP/PA will serve the non-concierge patient population and play a central role in ongoing patient management, continuity of care, and care coordination.
The physician is highly collaborative, accessible for consultation, and prioritizes open communication. While experience is preferred, motivated new graduates with strong clinical instincts will also be considered.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments; order and interpret diagnostic tests; establish diagnoses; and provide education and treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications, order referrals, and coordinate patient care as appropriate.
- Communicate routinely with the supervising physician to ensure high-quality, aligned patient management.
- Document visit notes accurately and in a timely manner using an electronic medical record system.
Schedule & Structure
- Full-Time: MondayFriday, 40 hours
- Part-Time: MondayFriday, reduced hoursflexible scheduling available
- No evening or weekend clinic hours
- Shared call rotation with minimal after-hours call volume
Qualifications
- Current Texas NP or PA License
- Unencumbered DEA License (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- ACLS/BLS Certification
- eCW experience is a plus
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-directed, adaptable, and team-oriented
- Warm, engaging, and committed to patient-centered care
- Ability to create comprehensive, outcomes-focused treatment plans
- Comfortable counseling patients on medical and psychological concerns, lifestyle changes, and chronic disease management
