Our well-established Internal Medicine practice is seeking a part-time or full-time, certified Physician Assistant (PA) or licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. We are an independent, solo-physician practice that is transitioning to a segmented concierge medical practice model; the PA/NP will be responsible for the care of the practice's non-concierge patients. The successful candidate must be able to work independently in a supervised clinical setting
, as the PA/NP will be responsible for the successful management and care coordination of an assigned patient population. Experience is highly preferred, though new graduates will be considered. Our physician is routinely available for consultation, and he encourages good communication

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assess patients needs, order or perform tests, interpret results and offer diagnosis and education; order prescriptions and referrals as needed
  • Communicate with supervising 
    physician regarding patient care
  • Chart visit notes in an electronic medical record in a timely fashion

The position is structured as follows:

  • Full-time (M-F, 40 hours per week) or Part-time (M-F, reduced hours/shorter days) You can choose your schedule!
  • NO evening or weekend clinic hours
  • Shared call with provider(s)

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Current Texas NP or PA License
  • Unencumbered DEA License (within 30 days of hire)
  • ACLS/BLS Certification
  • eCW experience is a plus
  • Self-motivated, directed, flexible and a team player
  • Outgoing and engaging personality
  • Energetic and enthusiastic about career growth and development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive outcomes-based patient treatment plans
  • Ability to counsel patients concerning medical and psychological/psychiatric conditions, treatment plans, and behavior modification
