EVMS Medical Group at Old Dominion University is seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pediatric Otolaryngology team. In partnership with faculty, residents, and nursing staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, coordinated care to children with ENT disorders across Children's Hospital of The Kings Daughters outpatient locations.
What You'll Do
- Provide outpatient evaluation and management for pediatric ENT patients
- Deliver continuity care, consultations, and follow-up services
- Educate families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and pre/post-operative care
- Assist faculty with in-office procedures
- Collaborate with nursing staff to triage calls and coordinate care
- Support scheduling, referrals, and seamless transitions to outside providers
- Participate in the development of clinical pathways and care protocols
- Promote consistent, high-quality, cost-effective patient care
What Were Looking For
- NP: MSN with NP focus; licensed RN and certified NP in Virginia
- PA: Licensed Physician Assistant in Virginia
- Pediatric or Otolaryngology experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage time effectively, adapt to change, and exercise sound clinical judgment
