About the job Assistant Purchasing Manager

Job Purpose: 

Responsible to be business partnering with designated Business Unit (BU) to ensure well linkage between BUs needs, Purchasing understanding and Corporates strategies. Also to ensure performance monitoring and find continuous improvement with BU and Purchasing

Key Result Areas:

1. Instills commitment to the Banyan Tree experience in associates ensuring that the groups vision and mission are assimilated, and the objectives of the company are met, especially in line with I AM WITH YOU Service Culture.
2. Understand concept of centralized Purchasing.
3. Be strategic alignment and business partnering with designated BU
4. Support sourcing team by providing input and information related to BU for decision making process
5. Develop strong and effective working relationships with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into category sourcing, and ensure successful strategy implementation
6. Ensure Purchasing process are in place to meet objectives and operation needs
7. Conduct necessary training courses to BU
