Management Trainee - Brand Communications

Work Location: Phuket

Period: At least 6 months

Start: As soon as possible

Day-to-Day Support Tasks:

  • Assist with content management for Brand Communications Spa & Wellbeing, including:
    • Collection and follow-up on content from properties and spas worldwide.
    • Ensuring all updated content is organized in trackers and folders.
    • Maintaining neat and structured wellbeing photo and video archives from 2024 and preparing content for 2025.

Content Creation and Organization:

  • Develop and maintain templates, trackers, databases, and presentations for ongoing and special projects.
  • Coordinate graphic design briefs and tasks, particularly for Banyan Tree Spa and Banyan Spa & Wellbeing Academy collaterals.

Special Projects:

  • Provide support for the Bayan Tree Sps 2.0 rollout, including collateral creation and dissemination.
  • Provide support on media event planning.

Expected Outcomes

  • Streamlined content management: ensure the Brand Marketing & Communications and Wellbeing Hub teams always have access to updated and well-organized content folders.
  • Successfully coordinate tasks across multiple teams, ensuring efficient communication and workflow.
  • Improved visual assets: clean up folders, arrange well-structured photo and video libraries, along with engaging templates and collateral for future campaigns.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables for special projects, ensuring on-time completion with high-quality output.
  • Support on design briefs and trackers, setting a strong foundation for ongoing and future initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Language Skills: proficiency in English is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Education / Qualifications: college degree plus university degree or higher qualification. Business, Communication or Hospitality majors are preferred but not compulsory.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Experience with project management tools is a plus (Canva, Monday).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coordination abilities to liaise with team members across different departments and locations.
  • Positive attitude: a proactive and can-do approach to tasks, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail: strong organizational skills to manage content and ensure accuracy in trackers, databases, and presentations.
  • Interest in Wellbeing: a genuine interest in wellbeing, spa, and holistic lifestyle trends is an added advantage.
