Financial Management and Reporting:
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Thai accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare quarterly and annual reporting to Singapore Head Office for consolidation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and company policies.
- Conduct financial analysis and present actionable insights to senior management.
- Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and receivable to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as required to support the finance department and overall business objectives.
Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, reporting requirements, and statutory filings.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities to facilitate audits and ensure compliance.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.
- Identify and address any weaknesses in internal controls, implementing corrective measures to mitigate risks and safeguard company assets.
Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Support business growth by providing financial projections, analysis, and recommendations.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making by analyzing financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the executive team on long-term financial planning.
Budget Preparation and Monitoring:
- Lead the preparation of the annual budget, coordinating with various departments to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Continuously monitor actual performance against budget, identifying variances and providing recommendations to optimize budget utilization.
- Work closely with department heads to develop accurate financial projections and adjust forecasts as needed.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the finance team of 14 team members, fostering a culture of accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Provide training and support to team members to ensure development and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Prior experience in a Financial Controller or similar role, with proven success in overseeing financial operations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Business Central or similar ERP systems).
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to use advanced functions for analysis.
- Familiarity with Thai financial regulations and tax codes.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team collaboration.
