Assistant Security Manager

Job Purpose: 

To ensure that security measures are supported and monitored through a systematic approach, maintaining security standards for residents, guests, staff, and management, while enhancing the organization's positive image

Key Result Area:

1. Security Operations Supervision - Assist the Security Manager in overseeing daily security activities and ensuring operational effectiveness.
2. Emergency & Incident Response - Support in managing emergencies, coordinating with security teams, and enforcing protocols.
3. Personnel Training & Performance Monitoring - Assist in training, evaluating, and improving the performance of security personnel.
4. CCTV & Radio Communications Management - Monitor security systems and ensure proper usage of communication equipment.
5. Administrative & Compliance Support - Help in maintaining reports, security policies, and compliance with safety regulations.
6. Liaison with Other Departments - Act as a point of contact between security teams and other business units
7. Handling Incident Reports and Communication- Responsible for managing the process of receiving incident reports from residents or guests in a housing estate or condominium, with a strong focus on English communication, also in charge of handling related documentation and reports
8. Oversee the inspection and readiness of emergency equipment and patrol vehicles, ensuring timely maintenance and reporting any issues.

General

1. The Assistant Security Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Security Manager in overseeing security operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and managing security personnel effectively.
2. The role ensures efficient security operations by overseeing teams, managing incidents, and maintaining surveillance and access control: systems. It demands strong leadership, swift decision-making, and effective coordination to enhance workplace safety.
3. Plan, Analyze, Implement and Control actively all Security Department occurrences with Security Manager.
4. Summary of all Security and Safety check lists monthly, quarterly and annually to Security Manager and look continuously at ways to improve Security team quality, service and income.
5. Provide support to the Security Manager in managing English-language communications and translation duties to facilitate the effective execution of operational goals
6. Supervised team operations to ensure strict compliance with security protocols and timely delivery of assigned tasks, in alignment with operational standards
7. Represented the Security Manager in meetings with other departments and partner companies, as well as in internal meetings and training sessions, either in the manager's absence or when officially delegated
8. Prepared duty rosters for managerial approval and monitored team attendance. timekeeping, and leave requests to ensure compliance with department regulations set by the Security Manager
9. Verified the accuracy and quality of security meeting reports before submitting to the Security Manager, ensuring they are suitable for monthly meetings and provide clear information for issue resolution by the security company
10. Monitored and controlled the confidentiality of information that could impact the organization's reputation, as well as the disclosure of information related to legal matters Ensured that the team understands and is fully aware of these issues

Key Qualifications:

1. 3-5 years of experience in security operations, law enforcement, or a related field
2. At least 2 years in a supervisory role, managing security personnel and daily operations
3. Ability to conduct risk assessments and security audits.
4. Basic understanding of fire safety and first aid procedures
5. Strong leadership and team management skills to supervise security personnel effectively
6. Excellent communication and coordination abilities with internal teams and external agencies
7. Decision-making and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations
8. Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends, and emergencies
9. Good English Communication and Translator
