Job Title:

Occupational Health & Safety Executive/เจ้าหน้าที่ จป. วิชาชีพ

Job Purpose:

Responsible for overseeing safety in the work of the company in the entire system. Set standards for administration and management of safety according to the law and responsible for the preparation of safety plans and warning signs, symbols, training and safety regulations.

Key Result Areas:

1. Plan and follow up safety, health and environment plans (including risk and emergency response).

2. Collect, analyze data and statistics including safety, health and environment report to the Safety Manager.

3. Observe the legality, rules and regulations and standards of the safety, health and environment of the workplace.

4. Consult and advisor on safety and environment of the workplace. Ensure that all practices / activities in the workplace are compliance with the legal, corporate or other requirements.

5. Participated in the preparation and planning of annual safety training including reporting dangerous working conditions to the management.

6. Participate in accident investigations ready to prepare a protection plan and how to fix it including evaluation.

7. Participate in the survey and investigation of accidents and prepare reports and recommendations on accidents, illnesses, as well as prevention and evaluation practices.

8. Develop and implement safety, procedures, and policies for production operations.

9. Advice and train employees to ensure that their work is free from causes that may cause insecurity at work.

10. Measure and evaluate the working environment or working with persons or agencies registered with the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare to certify or inspect documents. Evidence of the report on the inspection of the working environment within the establishment.

11. Inspect and assess the operation of the establishment to ensure that it is in accordance with the work plan, project or safety measures in the workplace.

12. Analyze jobs to identify hazards including setting preventive measures or safe work procedures presented to the company.

13. Analyze the project plan including suggestions from various agencies and recommend safety measures in the workplace to the company.

14. Collecting statistics, analyzing data, preparing reports and making recommendations about injuries, illnesses, or incidents of nuisance caused by the work of employees.

15. Establish a full program of documented health & safety inspections, audits and check.

16. Conduct equipment inspection to ensure they are correctly installed and operational.

17. Facilitate and schedule repairs of unsafe or damaged equipment.

18. Oversee the placement and setup of safety signs to warn of potential hazards.

19. Prepare and present to company management periodic report of safety operations.

20. Collaborate with law enforcement agents and investigators to address cases of workplace accidents.

21. Oversee and proffer recommendations on safety topics company such as proper waste disposal, fire regulations and noise to ensure they comply with safe and proper procedures.

22. Review company operational processes to ensure they are in line with external safety legislations.

23. Communicate, engage, and influence decision-makers and co-workers to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations.

24. Perform Day to Day operation and work together with Security Manager to ensure hotel standards, Risk Management frameworks as well as legal demands are followed.

25. Leading SHE committee for the hotel and conducting regular meeting and update the progress to management.

26. Attend occupational safety and health seminars to update job knowledge and enhance skills.

27. Create and submit necessary reports related to Occupational Health & Safety.

28. Other tasks as assigned by Management.

Key Qualifications:

1. Bachelors Degree or higher in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment or any related field.

2. At least 2 years experiences in safety field and having experiences in hotel business will be advantage.

3. Certificated as a Safety Officer at the professional level is a must.

4. Good knowledge of the following areas:

  • Occupational Health and Safety
  • Administrations, investigations, auditing or controlling
  • Technical security systems, Fire and Building codes
  • Criminal and civil laws and insurance

5. Ability to react confidently to critical situations and act appropriately to minimize risks to the business and people.

6. Self-reliant and motivated with proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.

7. Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential matters.

8. Good interpersonal, communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

9. Good command in English to communicate and present clearly in verbal and written

10. Good computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
