About the job E- Commerce Manager
Job Purpose:
To maximise digital revenue, occupancy, and profitability by driving direct bookings through the Banyan Living website and optimising visibility across Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) at the same time supporting omnichannel marketing campaigns to attract and retain customers.
Key Result Areas:
- Digital Strategy & Marketing: Plan and execute promotions, SEO, and paid digital ads to boost website traffic and conversion rates.
- Website Operations: Ensure the online store is secure, easy to navigate, and fully optimized across all devices.
- Data & Analytics: Analyze consumer behavior, track sales data, and make data-driven improvements to the buyer journey.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a bridge between Revenue, Marketing, Communications, Administration and third-party intermediaries to ensure all inventories are visible and correctly displayed.
General:
- Ensure correct set-up and monitoring of e-commerce and distribution systems for brand.com. OTAs, GDS, metasearch, and direct booking platforms, including social media.
- Drive revenue growth across all platforms, and brand.com through optimised distribution and pricing strategies.
- Support dynamic pricing, flash sales, and ad hoc campaigns to capture demand and maximize occupancy.
- Work with Communications and Marketing Teams to maintain 100% content score on OTAs, ensuring top visibility and competitive rankings.
- Design and execute market-specific campaigns tailored to high-performing source markets.
- Partner with Expedia, Agoda, Booking.com, and dynamic B2B partners on promotions, loyalty offers, and bundled packages.
- Synchronise with Revenue Team to analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and Lighthouse/OTA data to set rate strategies and increase competitiveness.
- Monitor and evaluate campaign ROI, adjusting strategies for stronger performance.
Key Qualification:
- Previous experience in e-Commerce role in an international hotel group or residential project
- Awareness and understanding of local, regional and international digital marketplace
- Ability to communicate fluently in Thai and English language (spoken and written)
- Working knowledge of relevant IT systems (MS Office, Opera, Lighthouse, SiteMinder etc)
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
