About the job Technician Supervisor

Job Purpose:

To supervise and perform maintenance, repair, and improvement work for estate facilities ensuring safety, efficiency, and service quality that meet LSPM standards while supporting smooth operations and resident satisfaction.

Key Result Areas:

1. Maintenance & Repair Services

  • Perform maintenance, repair, and installation tasks related to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, air-conditioning, and other estate facilities as assigned.
  • Respond promptly to service requests or repair calls from residents to ensure minimal disruption.

2. Renovation & Improvement Work

  • Support renovation projects for residential units and common areas as directed by the Estate Service Manager.
  • Ensure that all work meets LSPM's quality, safety, and aesthetic standards. 
3. Coordinate & Communication 
  • Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and effective delivery service.
  • Maintain professional communication with residents to ensure satisfaction with maintenance outcomes.

4. Compliance & Safety

  • Follow company safety policies, procedures, and government regulations related to building maintenance and repairs. 
  • Report any potential hazards or unsafe conditions immediately.
5. Record Keeping & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate logs of repair and maintenance work performed. 
  • Assist in preparing maintenance reports and cost estimates when required
General:
  • Ensure total quality of guest and resident services within the estate area. 
  • Support the LSPM team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.  
  • Uphold LSPM's philosophy, image, and standards in all interactions and work practices.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Vocational or Technical Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Maintenance (or related field)
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or repair services, including at least 1 year in a similar role. 
Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems 
  • Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely and efficiently 
  • Good communication and customer service skills 
  • Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork
Other Requirements:
  • Physically fit and able to work flexible hours, including weekends or emergencies
  • Basic understanding of English is an advantage
