The Head of EPMO is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and coordinating the organization's project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and driving project success across the enterprise. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer or Chief Information Officer and works closely with the senior management.
Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership, establish and maintain the EPMO structure, governance framework, and organizational processes
- Align project portfolio with organizational strategy and facilitate project selection and prioritization
- Develop and implement project management methodologies, standards, and tools across the enterprise Portfolio Management
- Oversee the enterprise-wide project portfolio, balancing resources, budgets, and timelines, Monitor project progress, performance, and risks across the portfolio
- Provide regular status reports and insights to senior management Resource Management
- Manage resource availability and capacity across projects
- Coordinate specialized projects involving multiple departments and external agencies
- Conduct lessons learned sessions and implement best practices Stakeholder Management, ensure clear communication and expectation management with all stakeholders
- Build collaborative relationships with divisional project leaders and senior stakeholders and reporting to Chief Digital and Information Officer
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in project and program management within the banking or financial services industry with 10-15 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks
- Proven leadership experience in managing large-scale business transformation initiatives, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic thinking and ability to align projects with organizational goals Key Performance Indicators
