About the job AMS Design Automation Engineer

Hiring a Staff Engineer AMS Automation to lead analog/mixed-signal full custom layout integration, improve IC development flows, and support global design teams with automation and tool innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive AMS/ASIC full custom analog and mixed-signal layout development.

  • Communicate and collaborate with internal/external customers.

  • Integrate new design tools and automation into existing flows.

  • Support and train global designers in AMS layout methodologies.

  • Optimize existing IC design processes for efficiency and scalability.

  • Manage chip-level custom integration using Cadence Virtuoso.

  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance processes and standards.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and best practices.

Required Skills:

  • 3 - 5 years of AMS physical design experience (analog full custom layout).

  • Proficient with Cadence Virtuoso tools (schematic, layout, Spectre/Spice).
  • Knowledge of FinFET technologies and advanced node design.

  • Experience with UNIX/Linux/Windows environments.

  • Programming skills in SKILL (Cadence), Python, C/C++ are preferred.

  • Familiarity with IC design flows, tools, and methodologies.

  • Strong documentation, training, and collaboration capabilities.

  • Background in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.

Additional Info:

  • Experience in software development/CI-CD is a plus.

  • ICADVM tool familiarity is advantageous.
