Avaloq Tester

We are seeking an experienced Avaloq Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing Avaloq banking software to ensure it meets the required standards and is free of defects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of banking operations, experience with Avaloq software, and excellent testing skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure Avaloq software meets the required standards.
• Perform manual and automated testing of Avaloq software, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Identify, report, and track defects found during testing, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or TestComplete.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, business analysis, and project management, to ensure testing is aligned with project goals.
• Continuously improve testing processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and quality improvements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.

Requirements:

• Proven experience testing Avaloq banking software, with a strong understanding of its functionality and configuration.
• Excellent testing skills, including test planning, test execution, and defect reporting.
• Experience with automated testing tools, such as Selenium, Appium, or TestComplete.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, including core banking, payments, and securities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and report defects.
• ISTQB or CSTE certification is a plus.
• Working experience  in Agile environments, including Scrum or Kanban, testing cloud-based applications, including AWS or Azure, DevOps environment including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
