Performance Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand non-functional requirements, user stories, epics, and develop performance test scenarios, test scripts, and test data.
• Develop test strategy and plan for performance testing.
• Utilize industry-leading performance test tools such as HP LoadRunner.
• Build and maintain scalable, portable, and configurable test scripts using HP LoadRunner.
• Script using Web (HTTP/HTML), web services, and TruClient.
• Conduct performance, load, concurrent user, and stress testing; execute tests and publish results.
• Design and build test scenarios to simulate load scenarios.
• Perform volume, stress, load, and endurance tests.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of experience using HP LoadRunner.
• 2-3 years of experience in performance testing using multiple protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, web services: REST, SOAP, JSON).
• Proficient in scripting with Web (HTTP/HTML), web services, and TruClient.
• Experience in analyzing scalability, throughput, and load testing metrics against test servers.
• Ability to compare system performance with varying levels of physical resources (RAM, CPU, Disk, Network).
• Skilled in measuring, reporting, and recommending performance Response Time Guidelines/SLAs.
• Experience building performance benchmarks and workloads, and performing performance analysis.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as perfmon, nmon, Splunk, Wily APM, and AppDynamics.
