About the job Delivery Lead- HIS
Responsibilities :
Own and govern end-to-end HIS delivery across legacy and modern platforms, ensuring disciplined execution, clear ownership, and adherence to defined delivery processes.
Enforce strict ticket lifecycle governance using the internal TMS, ensuring proper triage, prioritization, non-overlapping development, and validated closures.
Recommend and enforce Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery models per workstream based on system criticality, clinical risk, regulatory impact, and financial exposure.
Act as gatekeeper for patch management, overseeing root cause analysis, impact assessment, rollback planning, release approvals, and post-release stability.
Coordinate closely with Development, QA, Support, and Operations teams during releases, UAT, hypercare, and production support phases.
Proactively identify delivery risks, architectural constraints, and systemic issues within legacy AngularJS and ASP.NET-based HIS platforms, recommending mitigation plans.
Translate technical progress, delivery risks, and dependencies into clear executive-level updates for CTO, COO, and CEO through structured weekly and monthly reports.
Independently challenge developers and leads to ensure timelines, quality standards, DevOps discipline, and delivery processes are consistently followed.
Requirements :
8–12 years of experience in software delivery, PMO, or technical project management, with hands-on delivery or governance of Hospital Information Systems (HIS/HMS) in hospital IT, vendor, or system integrator environments.Strong understanding of hospital workflows including Front Office, Billing, Inventory, Pharmacy, and EMR/EHR, with exposure to billing complexities such as packages, insurance, corporate billing, and refunds.
Proven experience managing Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models, with the ability to pragmatically apply the right methodology based on clinical risk, regulatory requirements, and system criticality.
Solid working knowledge of AngularJS, ASP.NET Framework 4.8, and SQL Server, with exposure to or involvement in migration to Angular (latest) and .NET Core (latest) considered a strong advantage.
Demonstrated experience managing teams using TFS and GIT within a structured DevOps or DevSecOps pipeline, including branching strategy, release management, and deployment controls.
Working knowledge of HIS integrations with external systems and medical devices, including exposure to HL7 (ADT, ORM, ORU) and awareness or hands-on experience with FHIR standards.
Proven ability to work directly with CTO, C-level, and senior clinical/operations stakeholders, translating complex technical and delivery topics into concise executive-level communication.
Strong leadership presence with the ability to be firm, independent, and vocal when enforcing process, timelines, and accountability, supported by excellent documentation and reporting skills.
