Our client is a leading global organization that has recently expanded its operations in Romania and is building a high-impact Data & Analytics team in Bucharest. About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Analytics Products Lead who combines strong business acumen, product thinking, and technical expertise. In this role, you will drive the vision, development, and delivery of advanced analytics products that support key business decisions on a global scale.

You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating strategic objectives into impactful data solutions while leading and mentoring a growing team of analytics professionals in Romania.

What You'll Be Doing

• Define and drive the roadmap for innovative data and analytics products.

• Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and transform them into scalable analytical solutions.

• Lead cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle, from ideation and proof of concept to implementation and continuous improvement.

• Own product backlogs, priorities, delivery plans, and stakeholder communication.

• Provide technical leadership and contribute hands-on when needed to data pipelines, applications, and analytics solutions.

• Support the growth of the local Data & Analytics organization through hiring, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.

• Collaborate with global teams to establish best practices and contribute to strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience delivering data & analytics products in complex environments.

• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.

• Strong product management mindset with the ability to shape and scale analytics solutions.

• Solid technical background, including data engineering and modern analytics platforms.

• Experience with technologies such as PySpark, TypeScript, Palantir Foundry, or similar platforms is highly desirable.

• Previous exposure to insurance, reinsurance, financial services, or other highly regulated industries is a strong advantage.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or similar.

• Fluent English communication skills.
