Data & Reporting Consultant (Power BI / SQL)

We are looking for a Data & Reporting Consultant who will work in close cooperation with the Analytics Manager. The role focuses on building and optimizing reporting solutions, understanding business processes, and supporting the transition from SAP BO to Power BI.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with solid business understanding and is comfortable working with raw, operational data.

Key Responsibilities

• Build basic operational reports in Excel and Power BI based on manual data extracts from SAP / WMS / CRM and warehouse data (Snowflake).

• Discover, analyze, and document business processes and data sources, contributing to a structured knowledge base.

• Review existing reporting solutions and prepare a transition plan from SAP BO to Power BI,

• in cooperation with internal SAP and BI teams.

• Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and usability across reporting solutions.

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and reporting/analytics solutions.

Must-have Competencies

• Very good knowledge of SQL and data modelling in Microsoft Excel – critical requirement
  (Power Query, data models, Power Pivot, DAX).

• Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand, document, and optimize business processes related to data and reporting.

• Experience working with raw ERP data (preferably SAP, but other ERP systems are also acceptable).

• Very good knowledge of English and Romanian (spoken and written).

Nice-to-have (Should)

• Good skills in Power BI report design and development, including paginated reports.

• Proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple teams.
