The Role
As a Traffic Control Scheduler for our Major Projects department, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the seamless allocation of resources to support the safe and efficient execution of large-scale traffic management projects.
Key Responsibilities
• - Strategic Scheduling: Plan and allocate skilled freeway crews, modern vehicles, and equipment to client bookings.
• - Project Coordination: Oversee scheduling for Australia’s most prominent infrastructure developments, including freeway and high-speed road projects.
• - Fleet Management: Ensure optimal utilization of our cutting-edge fleet, including the latest Automated Cone Trucks (ACT).
• - Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to confirm bookings and resolve scheduling challenges.
• - Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety, licensing, training, and fatigue management regulations.
• - Problem Solving: Swiftly address scheduling conflicts or last-minute changes with a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
• - Administration Excellence: Maintain accurate records in scheduling software (e.g., Assignar) and support administrative tasks.
What You Bring

Essential Skills and Experience
• - Proven success in high-volume scheduling, rostering, or coordination roles.
• - Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with a customer service focus.
• - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn scheduling platforms quickly.
• - Problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Desirable Skills
• - Traffic management industry experience or knowledge.
• - Familiarity with Assignar or similar scheduling software.
