About the Role

Are you ready to design traffic management solutions that lead to safer roads and efficient traffic flow? As a **Traffic Engineer / Traffic Management Designer**, you’ll be pivotal in creating compliant and innovative Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) for high-impact projects.

Based in our Hallam office, you’ll focus on Category 3 roads and liaise with clients, internal teams, and authorities to deliver outstanding results.

What You’ll Do

- **Design Excellence**: Develop precise and compliant TMPs and TGS that meet all regulatory requirements.
- **Client Engagement**: Collaborate with clients to tailor traffic solutions to their needs.
- **Safety First**: Conduct risk assessments and prioritize safety in every plan.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**: Work closely with road authorities, councils, and public transport agencies to secure approvals and maintain standards.
- **Efficiency**: Ensure plans are accurate and delivered on time to support seamless operations.
- **Team Synergy**: Partner with internal teams to drive innovative traffic management strategies.

What We’re Looking For

- **Proven Experience**: A background in traffic management planning or similar roles.
- **Essential Qualifications**: Construction White Card, valid C Class Driver’s License, and certification in Traffic Management Plan Preparation (RIICWD503E).
- **Tech-Savvy**: Proficiency in Rapid Plan or equivalent software, along with advanced Microsoft 365 skills.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong analytical abilities to ensure precision in all plans.
- **Great Communicator**: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- **Time Management Guru**: A master at juggling priorities and meeting deadlines.
