Piping Design Engineer

We are on behalf of our client looking for a Piping Design Engineer for a project in Oslo (alternative Stavanger), Norway.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Overall performance of engineering discipline activities as a Piping Design Engineer and deliverables in the assigned scope, including:
  • Checking isometrics (E3D/Navisworks).
  • Detailed knowledge of P&IDs, PFDs, and piping design.
  • Coordination with internal and external customers.
  • As-built and LCI deliverables.
  • Isometric checking as required

Qualifications and personal attributes:

• Engineering degree with experience in the offshore-related industry.
• Good knowledge of E3D/Navisworks.
• Detailed knowledge of Norsok and international design codes and standards for the oil and gas industry.
• Ability to coordinate with the design team and contribute/add value in multi-discipline design activities.
• Available for work in Norway - starting immediately!
• Good communicative skills in English (Norwegian a plus) and team player.
• Valid work permit in Norway (or being located within the EU)!
