Instrument Engineer, Metering

We are on behalf of our client looking for a Instrument Engineer, Metering for a project in Trondheim, Norway.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Provide input to concept studies, including fiscal and allocation metering systems.
• Typically involves tie-back of new oil and gas fields to existing process facilities. 
• Can include both topside and subsea metering.

Qualifications and personal attributes:

• Bachelor, Master or other relevant education
• Senior Engineer with detailed knowledge of instruments, analysis systems, and control systems used for fiscal metering. 
• Thorough understanding of NORSOK, IEC, and AGA standards, as well as national legislation.
• Available for work in Norway!
• Good communicative skills in English (Norwegian an advantage) and team player
• Valid work permit in Norway (or being located within the EU)!

Other information: 

• Approximately 30% metering scope, rest is instrument.
• Offshore course required for the instrument part of the position.
• Note: EX-basic training required for work in EX areas. Ref: OLF 059/EX-KOMP 2021.
• Contract duration set to one year from start date.
