We are on behalf of our client looking for a Instrument Engineer DTR for a project in Trondheim, Norway.


Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Obtain detailed knowledge of the assigned scope of work for your discipline.
  • Prepare discipline input to complete the design basis during the start-up period for the assigned scope.
  • Ensure the scope of work for your discipline is clear and understood by additional team members, when relevant.
  • Manage and coordinate work done by additional team members from your discipline.
  • Maintain clear interfaces with suppliers and subcontractors regarding the discipline scope of work.
  • Establish and maintain the activity schedule for your discipline's activities.
  • Perform estimation work and plan activities.
  • Interface with other engineering disciplines and follow up on clarifications.
  • Establish and maintain the discipline material budget (MTO) for your discipline, if relevant.
  • Establish and maintain the document development schedule for your discipline.
  • Implement approved changes into the discipline schedule.

Qualifications and personal attributes:

  • Bachelor, Master or other relevant education and/or experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of relevant design rules, regulations, and standards.
  • Ability to execute tasks, take responsibility, and make decisions.
  • Strong communication skills and proactive attitude - team player.
  • Leadership qualities and mentoring younger engineers.
  • Available for work in Norway!
  • Knowledge of NORSOK and relevant standards/regulations for NCS.
  • Project-specific software skills.
  • Good communicative skills in English (Norwegian an advantage).
  • Valid work permit in Norway (or being located within the EU)!
