Instrument Engineer - Valves

We are on behalf of our client looking for a Instrument Engineer - Valves for a long term project in Trondheim, Norway.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Establishing technical input to Package Strategies
• Compiling Technical Requisitions & Specifications for Inquiry and Purchase Orders
• Execution of technical Pre-Order Activities
• Planning, execution, and coordination of technical Follow-Up Activities
• Performing follow-up and coordination of technical procurement activities
• Execution and coordination of Supplier Documents and Drawings approval
• Working closely with the customers technical specialists
• Reviewing and quality assurance of supplier documentation
• Updating and providing input to the engineering database
• Participating in performance tests and other inspections at suppliers premises
• Following up and supporting site work and responding to technical queries

Qualifications and personal attributes:

• Bachelor, Master or higher technical education
• Senior engineer with relevant offshore project experience
• Actuated valve experience!
• Knowledge of relevant design rules, regulations, and standards (including NORSOK)
• Ability to execute, take responsibility, and make decisions
• Strong communication and proactive skills
• Ownership of the procurement process for discipline or multidiscipline packages
• Experience with On/Off- (EV, XV, HV, HIPPS), Control- (PV, LV), Choke- and PSV-valves for Equinor frame agreement vendors
• Available for work in Norway!
• Teamwork and trade experience
• Good communicative skills in English and team player
• Valid work permit in Norway (or being located within the EU)!
