We are on behalf of our client looking for a Commissioning Engineer - Instrument & Control System for a project in Verdal, Norway. 

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Develop and review Commissioning test procedures 
  • Contribute to Plant Start-up and Performance test procedures.
  • Define temporary systems, tools, consumables, and first fills.
  • Help create governing documents and work instructions for the execution phase.
  • Evaluate commissioning and operational spares.
  • Participate in design reviews, vendor FATs, and inspections.
  • Prepare Commissioning scope and work packages in PCS.
  • Provide input on plans and budgets.
  • Execute loop tests and system punch-out, and handle MC handover.
  • Perform commissioning tasks according to plans and report progress.
  • Supervise start-up tests and vendor personnel within your group. 
  • Manage changes (SWCR, queries, documents) and system take-over activities.
  • NB: 21/14 rotation!

Qualifications and personal attributes:

  • Bachelors degree preferred. Other technical education and/ or elevant work experience can compensate for lack of education.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience from EPC processes, particularly in New Build/Renewables segments.
  • Good knowledge of work processes within the discipline.
  • Proficient in MIPS, MS Office 365, PCS (Pims, ProCoSys) and Autodesk Simulate.
  • Strong problem-solving skills w/ attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively. Honesty and integrity are essential.
  • Available for work in Norway!
  • Good communicative skills in English (Norwegian an advantage) and team player
  • Valid work permit in Norway (or being located within the EU)
