Safety & Environment Engineer - Working Environment

We are on behalf of our client looking for a Safety & Environment Engineer - Working Environment for a project in Trondheim, Norway.

Responsibilities and tasks:

Responsible for planning and executing working environment activities in projects:

• Perform working environment analysis, assessments, and evaluations (e.g., ergonomics, human factors, chemicals, noise, vibration, biological agents, lighting, indoor/outdoor climate, radiation, psychosocial/organizational conditions, job hazards)
• Prepare and update design engineering documentation and reports
• Implement working environment design requirements in equipment procurement and follow up with suppliers
• Plan and prepare working environment reviews like WEHRA

Qualifications and personal attributes:

• Bachelor, Master or higher relevant education 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in working environment engineering, preferably in Norwegian Oil & Gas or similar industry
• Detailed knowledge of Norwegian regulations (NORSOK S-002, S-005, S-011, S-012, C-002) and other relevant standards
• Proactive with good communication and cooperation skills
• Ability to work independently and available for work in Norway!
• Preferred location: Trondheim (other locations may be considered)
• Good communicative skills in English (Norwegian an advantage) and team player
• Valid work permit in Norway (or being located within the EU)!
