Structural Engineer - Work Preparation

We are on behalf of our client looking for a Structural Engineer - Work Preparation for a project in Trondheim, Norway.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Deliver job cards with accurate descriptions, estimated budgets and durations for fabrication and installation.
• Prepare material withdrawal requests and inputs for purchasing.
• Follow up on material status.

Qualifications and personal attributes:

• Bachelor or other relevant technical education and/or experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience from topside modification projects in the offshore industry, preferably in the North Sea.
• Good knowledge of general computer technology; experience in structural design/construction is an advantage.
• Proficiency in software such as TIME, MIPS, and E3D.
• Experience in preparing job cards for fabrication and installation.
• Understanding of structural installation methods, 3D models, and drawings.
• Available for work in Norway!
• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English both written and spoken.
  
• Valid work permit in Norway (or being located within the EU).
