Job Responsibilities:

  • Consistently maintains Food and Beverage (F&B) stores, including the recording, controlling, and issuing of inventory to operational departments.
  • Always promptly informs the F&B Storekeeper of slow-moving items that need to be added to the slow-moving items list.
  • Always assists the F&B Storekeeper in managing inventory and provides input on consumption patterns.
  • Always keeps the F&B Storekeeper informed about critical F&B supply levels.
  • Continually monitors consumption trends and promptly reports discrepancies and unusual trends in stock consumption or utilization to the F&B Storekeeper or the Hotel Inventory Manager.
  • Willingly participates in the internal loading of all stores items as directed by the Hotel Inventory Manager.
  • Always issues last-minute orders to operational units as directed by the Hotel Inventory Manager.
  • Promptly reports all technical defects to the F&B Storekeeper.
  • Always assists in USPH pre-inspections as instructed by the Hotel Inventory Manager.
  • Consistently monitors expiration and sell/use-by dates and rotates stock efficiently to minimize loss.
  • Sorts deteriorating produce and always maintains proper storage methods.
  • Always confirms the specifications and inspects and evaluates the quality of the provisions received to ensure that product specification and quality standards are met at all times.
  • Willingly participates in the physical stock counts of all F&B inventory items held in store rooms.
  • Ensures compliance with all inventory and product control policies and procedures and promptly notifies the Hotel inventory Manager of any discrepancies.
  • Inputs inventory counts of the F&B stores into Crunchtime following scheduled inventory counts.
  • Maintains routine communication with F&B department heads, and always responds promptly to all internal requests.
  • Complies with applicable policies and procedures, USPHS and Fleet Regulations, and other internal, external, and governmental regulations at all times.
  • Always maintains records regarding public health and sanitation standards as required by the Company and governmental agencies.
  • Keeps work environment and equipment in safe operating order at all times, and always performs all job duties in compliance with stated safety policies.
  • Performs all General Emergency Organization duties as directed.
  • Demonstrates commitment to the Companys values, beliefs, goals, and initiatives.
  • Acts as a Company representative and always portrays a positive image of Princess Cruises to all passengers, officers, and crew.
  • Always maintains professional, effective, and motivated working relationships, taking into account differences in cultures, backgrounds, and individual personalities.

Qualifications:

  • Two-year experience as an Assistant Storekeeper.
  • Understanding of the foundation of customer service.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language.
