Barista

• Provides an immediate positive first impression to every guest through a warm, welcoming individual Consummate Host greeting.
• Continuously keeps small record guests preferences of coffee and tea drinks, while building a close relationship by names with every guest where possible.
• Involve guests in Product discussions learned through ICON advanced training to increase guest enjoyment of their purchase.
• Ensures the daily patter is always at hand to answer any guest queries and pre-empting information by actively discussing showtimes, entertainment venues, and port arrival/sailing times.
• Ensures all Barista beverages are executed in a professional and timely manner to company standards and acts on their own business ownership attitude.
• Works towards completing ICON Level 0 and 1 to ensure knowledge is up to standard.
• Works closely and regularly with the Chief Barista to review daily revenue and Bar promotion targets/results set by Bar Management with no disruption to bar service.
• Ensures that Bar staff charge all special events correctly, including, but not limited to, 90000 accounts, Company sponsored parties, interdepartmental events, and private parties.
• Routinely and properly prepares all Barista bar items required for a full professional beverage service.

Always presents and maintains all areas immaculately including, but not limited to, lighting, ambiance, menus and table and chair set-up.
