Job Responsibilities:
- Assists the 1st Pantryman with preparation of special breakfast items to fulfill passenger requests.
- Always maintains coffee stations in good order and properly works the coffee service line.
- Properly prepares fruit and cheese plates for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Properly prepares cold fruit appetizers and cold soups for dinner.
- Carries out production in assigned area/station as directed by the 1st Pantryman/Sous Chef/Executive Chef, ensuring quality and consistency by always adhering to Company-supplied recipes and picture presentation as the minimum standard.
- Under the direction of the 1st Pantryman/Sous Chef/Executive Chef, consistently and properly coaches subordinate Pantry staff in assigned area of production in expected Princess product standards.
- Willingly assists the Executive Chef in special events, which may include fruit and vegetable carving.
- Always practices batch cooking/preparation process based on passenger demand.
- Performs all assigned tasks in the most cost-efficient manner possible while adhering to the highest quality standards.
- Willingly assists in training and orientation for all new-to-vessel/firstcontract Pantry staff as directed by the Executive Chef/Sous Chef.
- Properly maintains recipe and photographic files and promptly
- requests any missing recipes or pictures from the 1st Pantryman/Sous Chef.
- When appropriate, seeks guidance from the 1st Pantryman/Sous Chef/Executive Chef in executing production according to Princess Cruises recipes.
- Always performs all duties in accordance with applicable policies and procedures, Fleet Regulations, and other internal, external, and governmental regulations.
- Always complies with safety, USPHS, and environmental regulations.
- Verifies subordinates compliance with occupational safe working practices as stated in Fleet Regulations and the Company's policies and procedures.
- Always follows timekeeping rules and creates accurate ILO records; monitors compliance with ILO 180 standards and regulations for the Crew Galley.
- Performs General Emergency Response duties as directed in the Emergency Response Organization.

- Acts as a Company representative and always portrays a positive image of Princess Cruises to all passengers, officers, and crew.

- Always promotes a harassment-free environment.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 2 years experience onboard cruise/passenger ship in the position of 2nd Pantryman or 4 years experience as a Pantry cook in a reputable hotel, resort or hospitality related establishment.
- Must have a good understanding of U.S.P.H. principles.
- Work experience cooking/catering for a large number of passengers/customers
- Good English language skills.
- Ability to adapt and work in a large multinational team.
