Job Responsibilities:
- Always performs timely and appropriate alterations and repairs to all uniforms and tuxedo rentals, and performs any other sewing service as directed.
- Always accurately separates and prepares in-use linens in a timely manner for collection by operating departments.
- Always assists with the efficient issue of in-service uniforms to crew as detailed in authorized Uniform Requisitions.
- Always participates in routine Laundry and Housekeeping assignments as required by the Laundry Master.
- Always responds promptly to all authorized internal requests as appropriate.
- Provides service to internal departments with the consistent issuance of in-service uniform, linen, and associated products; always remains engaged through completion of service.
- Always assists with the administration of the onboard in-service linen and uniform programs.
- Consistently performs the monthly inventory of all in-service linen items.
- Consistently maintains the inventory of all in-service uniform items.
- Always assists with the loading, storing, and organization of linens and uniforms as directed.
- Performs all General Emergency Organization duties.
- Ensures compliance with applicable Hotel Policies & Procedures, Fleet Regulations, and other internal, external, and government regulations at all times.
- Always maintains the sanitation and upkeep of designated hotel storerooms in compliance with Company standards.
- Demonstrates commitment to the Companys values, beliefs, goals, and initiatives.
- Acts as a Company representative and always portrays a positive image of Princess Cruises to all guests, officers, and crew.
- Always maintains professional, effective, and motivated working relationships, taking into account differences in cultures, backgrounds, and individual personalities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with alterations, hemming or sewing repairs.
- Must have good oral and written command of the English language.
