Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the cleanliness and good order of the bar and bar pantry to USPHS health standards.
• To be familiar with the correct procedures in the operation of and the cleaning and sanitizing of all bar equipment, i.e., ice machines, refrigerators, glass washing machines, work surfaces, and utensils.
• To collect from storerooms and deliver to bars, items such as beverages, fruits, glassware, and general supplies as required.
• To assist the Bar Storekeeper in the delivery of bar liquor stocks to the various locations.
• To assist the Bar Storekeeper in the loading of ships stores and their delivery as required.
• To be familiar with the storage of all bar items in their respective refrigerators, lockers, and containers.
• To be familiar with the preparation of fruits, garnishes, and juices for bar use.
• To be familiar with the correct ice handling procedures.
• To be familiar with correct glass washing and handling procedures.
• To be familiar with the garbage separation system and its removal from the place of work to the correct disposal area.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of Public Health and Sanitation regulations and procedures
• Ability to organize and complete work meeting deadlines
• Working knowledge of wine and beverage products and cocktail presentation and preparation
• Command of the English language, both verbal and written
