About the job ASSISTANT BUFFET GARDE MANAGER

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

To work under the supervision of the Chef de Partie in charge of the buffet learning and preparing the day to day production of all buffet items as per company standards and specifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To arrive at work in time in clean, company specified uniform.
2. To maintain a high level of personal hygiene.
3. Follow all sanitation and food handling guidelines as required by the company and USPH.
4. To have a thorough knowledge of all catering equipment needed to carry out their job.
5. To assist the Chef de Partie in the receiving and returns of food items from the storeroom.
6. To work any of the shifts as assigned by the chef de partie.
7. To learn ice carving skills.
8. To assist in any cleaning duties as requested by the chef de partie.
9. To attend all meetings as requested by the chef de partie.
10. To attend all safety meetings and drills as requested by the ships command.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
The position of buffet trainee reports directly to the Chef de Partie, Buffet.
