Psychiatrist FT - Outpatient

Position Overview:

Korzen Health is seeking a compassionate, board-certified Psychiatrist to join our outpatient team in Bowling Green, KY. This full-time position offers a Monday-Friday schedule. This is outpatient psychiatry with a focus on collaborative, integrated care.  You will work in close collaboration with mid-level providers to deliver quality, patient-centered care. J-1 and H-1B are acceptable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients admitted to the inpatient unit
• Review medical records and conduct interviews with patients and their families to gather comprehensive information
• Formulate accurate diagnoses based on DSM-5 criteria and clinical findings
• Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, adjusting as necessary for optimal outcomes
• Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications:

• MD or DO in Psychiatry
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
• Licensed to practice in Kentucky (or eligible for licensure)
• Active DEA
